We now have an exciting opportunity for Mobile Crushing Lead Hands to join our team in Little River, as well as other mobile sites across VIC.

What You'll Bring to Your Next Opportunity:

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will lead a team of Operators and manage on-site mobile rock-crushing operations.

Your day-to-day duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant;
  • Identifying and rectifying faults and safety discrepancies;
  • Setting team goals, delegating tasks and setting deadlines; and
  • Measuring team performance and providing feedback.

You’ll be Great in this Role Because:

You will be experienced in operating and maintaining mobile crushing and screening plants. It is essential that you are able to operate various types of earth-moving and mobile crushing plant machinery, as well as perform basic plant repair and preventative maintenance tasks.

Experience in the Quarry/Mining industries will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable history of meeting production targets and a motivation to enhance production quantity whilst maintaining high-quality production standards.

Importantly, you must demonstrate strong leadership skills such as leading by example, applying company vision and values, and ensuring respect and accountability are consistently displayed throughout the team.

You will need to maintain a presence on-site and commit to building a strong team whilst also managing maintenance requirements in and outside of working hours. Strong communication skills will be essential, as will your ability to conduct difficult conversations with a number of stakeholders when required.

A positive, open mindset and a can-do attitude will be important to your success in this role!
